Newsletter for Winter 2018
Welcome back everyone!
I hope that you are ready for a very busy term here at Pre-school.
Please could you check the children’s bags to make sure that they have suitable spare clothing for all weathers. It has also been noticed that we have a lot of clothing that is not labelled. This can cause lots of confusion and up-set so make sure everything is labelled please.
We will continue with toddle Tuesday as it has been very popular with the children, but if weather is not good we will cancel as appropriate.
Show & Tell
We have noticed that show and tell items are getting progressively bigger; please remember that they have to fit comfortably into a drawer with ease. One show and tell item at a time is plenty.
Drawer space is greatly needed during this term as we make lots of Christmas crafts to take home.
Children in need Children in Need
is on Friday 16th November, we thought we would raise money for this good cause by making donations of £1 for the privilege to wear our pyjamas to pre-school.
It would be great if you could also encourage your child to bring in their favourite bedtime story to share with the rest of the group.
The Christmas end of term party will be on Thursday 20th December from 10am-1pm. No lunch boxes will be needed. Father Christmas has told me that he will be visiting pre-school during the party if the children are all good!!!!!
The Christmas raffle will be drawn on Monday
17th December and the children will sing their Christmas songs to you all at 1pm.We will send home raffle tickets within the next couple of weeks for you to sale.
